I've done art all my life. I grew up in New York City and majored in liberal and fine art at The City University of New York.  I have a graduate degree from New York University where I studied theatrical set design. There is also a strong graphic design influence in my work.

As a painter, I'm primarily interested in lines, geometric shapes and surface textures, often arranged in simple formal compositions. I like to play with flat surface shapes that imply depth and distance through line and color. Occasionally, my work will reveal different styles in one painting—smooth gradations, loose brush strokes, and realistic areas. My subjects are often architectural–industrial sites, building facades. Increasingly my work has becoming more abstract.

Collectors in New Zealand, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and the United States have purchased my paintings.
