I believe in the power of art to transform individuals and communities. We are influenced by the world around us.  A classically trained artist, I have integrated contemporary materials and processes into my work.  As a result, I am able to make, thoughtful, interesting and exciting works ranging from long lasting exterior paintings to microprocessor driven LEDs and motors.  Over the past decade I have used this approach in public art that is both reflective of the group involved in its creation and inclusive of the viewer.  How people respond to their environment, how they see themselves and how they respond to life around them fascinates me.  I offer no judgment but see my role as a mirror, reflecting what is around me.
