I specialize in pet portraiture. I have been training dogs for 9 years and that experience has helped me to create such insightful portraits. My own personal connections with dogs makes pet portraiture a true passion of mine. They are our family and I truly aim to honor that special bond in each painting.
Acrylic and Water Color with Ink Pen are my main mediums. I enjoy using bright colors and strong details to express their one-of-a-kind personalities.
I grew up in Upper Baltimore Country, a quarter mile back in the woods in an old log cabin. This place is everything that is magical to me. With a family of artists, I have been imersed in the art scene of Baltimore, MD and York, PA since a very young age. My main inspiration being my Mother, who is also a fine artist who's shown me the kind of dedicaiton and work it takes to grow as an artist and make a living from it.
I moved to Pittsburgh in 2004, and bought a house in 2010 where I live with my husband, daughter, two large dogs and a cat. Life is busy, and what's most important along with time managing your family life- is making sure there is always time to create.
