Jane Miller is a teacher/journalist and developer of elementary - middle school literacy projects that build respectful relationships in multi-generational settings. The RUFF Writers began as a mom-daughter-therapy dog project in a personal care home. In seven years it grew to engage elementary, middle and high school students in the Northgate School District.
