Chelsea Lane is a first-year graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her B.A. in Music from Yale, where she participated in numerous musical organizations, including the Yale Symphony Orchestra, with whom she performed Reinhold Glière’s Concerto for Harp as winner of the William Waite Concerto Competition last fall. Chelsea has been a recipient of several Pittsburgh music scholarships, which helped fund her summer at the Tignes MusicAlp Festival with Isabelle Perrin and Marie-Pierre Langlamet, and at the International Harp Academy in Gargilesse with Fabrice Pierre. She also attended the Aspen Music Festival for two summers and has competed nationally as a finalist in the Anne Adams Awards and American Harp Society Advanced Division.
