In 2010 I have moved back to Pittsburgh from Virginia where I was educated and worked for 10 years, the last four working at Live Arts, Inc. in Charlottesville, VA in performance ("Streetcar Named Desire", "Lysistrata" and "Footloose: the musical") and education. I went to high school in Pittsburgh and participated heavily in musical theatre, which inspired me to become a full-time artist, so to speak. I have written a musical called "My Mania" which has been performed in Virginia and New York City. I have also had other works, non-musical produced in Virginia: "Wednesday's Child", "Seven Sad Songs" and "Paris on Tuesday". Finally, I enjoy performing and directing in theatrical productions. I have directed my own works but most recently I directed "Desdemona" by Paula Vogel at U.Va. I also have done props and costume work, my most recent being for Live Arts' "Eurydice" in the summer of 2009. I'm also very heavily into opera and Shakespeare, which has driven me to my current desire to create a classical theatre in Pittsburgh that will focus bringing the classics into a new light. If you are interested in collaborating with me, or investing in this project, I would love to get to know you!
