Personal experiences always influence and shape everything I do.  From my childhood to my current work, I pull inspiration from everyday interactions.  Whether an adventure, or a private tragedy, to even a simple material exploration, such experiences become the concepts of my art.

Through the manipulation of wood, metal, plastics and ceramics with traditional sculptural methods and new digital fabrication machinery, I capture these encounters in three-dimensional objects and installations.  Elements of utility, minimalism and nature are present in each work, which symbolize various aspects of my life.

In my current work, I am reflecting on unrealized concepts from my past.  By exploring these earlier ideas with new techniques and materials, the original imagery may change, but the emotional impact remains.
