Preparing Images for the Pittsburgh Artist Registry:

Digital Format and Image Size:

The Pittsburgh Artist Registry accepts digital images in JPG format only.

Please create your images so they are 1920 pixels tall / 1920 pixels wide. This can be done by making the longest edge of the image size 1920 pixels, then making the shorter edge 1920 pixels, which will result in a file that is 1920 x 1920 pixels. Set the background color to black. This will allow your images to be shown on a black background.

Each image should be no larger than 1MB in size.

File Names:

For each work sample, use the following formula. Your last name_titleofwork.jpg
For example, Smith_CitySculpture.jpg
