- “Eternal Flame” is the first in a short series of paintings in remembrance and honor of my Mom, who passed away in 2014. The death of one so dear is one of the most difficult and spiritual experiences a person can have, especially holding the hand of that person as she takes her final breath. She was and is my eternal flame of strength and virtue.
