This image is from my "Shadow of a City" series. This body of work was started in New Orleans and then finished in Pittsburgh through a grant from the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts. I wanted to (or needed to) photograph images of a time gone by. In addition, this body of work received honorable mention in the Silver Eye Center for Photography’s Fellowship 2002, and was on exhibition in the 2003 Three Rivers Arts Festival Annual Exhibition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
