Accessory & Costume Designer, Suz Pisano has collaborated with Attack Theatre, Pittsburgh Dance Connection, and The Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh, as well as many other local choreographers and dancers. She has created costumes for Glaxo Smith Kline, Mayer Johnson, and for Ten United. Suz also designs unique handbags, hats and scarves in her downtown studio. It’s where fashion meets function! Offering downtown an alteration, custom sewing & repair service is her newest venture- “Sewing in the City”. In the warmer months you might just see her tooling around class="MsoNormal">
Suz travels mostly during the summer months to arts festivals where you can find her unique line of accessories. When she’s not hard at work at class="MsoNormal">
Suz also enjoys giving back to her community and has taught at several after school programs and summer school art programming at Shuman Center. She recently finished a program with The MGR Foundation in collaboration with the Pittsburgh’s Children’s Museum’s “Arts Alive” Program and Robot 250. She also has mentored interns from City High. This very busy woman credits much of her success to the love of her life- Dagoberto, her husband. They live happily together in luv-luv land.
