An emotive and abstract painter, I primarily use oil to create work that is suggestive of landscape that exists in the natural world as well as within the human body. While we interact with our natural landscape on a daily basis, our internal landscape is as foreign to us as the human psyche. Foreign in the sense that, though we do not exist without it, we do not regularly reflect on its beauty or purpose. My artwork is simply that-- a reflection on the human psyche as seen through individual body processes that promote and suspend life.
